Thoughts on the Readings
The readings this week were a great breath of fresh air for me. This is where the rubber hits the road. I connected with Paula Petrick’s Top Ten Web Design Mistakes and found that the Williams and Tollett, The Non-Designers Web Book offers hope for this neophyte in the area of Web Design.
I was reminded of [...]

My project idea is to utilize the web and digital means to create more accessibility to US battlefield sites to create a more interactive experience. This project is borne out of my own desire to try to “see” and “experience” battlefields that I have not had the chance to visit. In addition to thinking about [...]

“Ambient awareness”
“Brave New World of Digital Intimacy” (NYT) I like the notion of the digital intimacy this article talks about. Of course, it’s pretty cool that a friend of mine is quoted in the article! Celebrity aside, it’s a great article and one that seems to fit well into what we are reading and thinking about: [...]

I am currently making my way through the e-text version of the Len Manovich book (my hard copy has yet to arrive) comments on that soon. I have read with great interest the upcoming Journal of American History provided in pre-published hard copy by Dr. Cohen.
The article is a refreshing look at the scholarly landscape ahead for [...]
